Over the years I've experimented with a number of different media and studied computer graphics in college, but I find that I still favor painting. I think art should make you feel good. Painting is such a personal thing, that it's rewarding to connect with the viewer. I combine my personal reflections of photographs with my interest in acrylic painting. My pieces bring together the best of both worlds. I like to paint people in relaxed settings, it invites others to come closer and take part in someone else's story. There's something special about capturing the joy of an uncomplicated moment. Portraying light in a person's face helps bring out their natural essence and reveals an inner glow. When viewers see a piece, I want them to reach deep inside and bring up emotions. Feelings, experiences and relationships are just as important to me as color harmony and composition. I'm honored to share my art with you.
